Walker Henyon – Ski Racing
Walker Henyon, was born and raised in Bozeman Montana. He is an incredibly passionate ski racer with Bridger Ski Foundation based out of Bridger Bowl. He has been skiing ever since he could walk, and his first ski race was at Bridger Bowl when he was 5 years old. He did fell in love with skiing when he strapped the first set of skis on his feet and continues to find his greatest joy when carving turns up in the mountains.
Walker loves the outdoors but what he loves most about nature, is the snow. Snow not only allows Walker to ski, but to experience the Cold Smoke at Bridger Bowl, hang out with friends and meet new people every chair ride. In the summer he loves to play soccer and all year round, he enjoys playing with his black lab, Yukon.
Walker has placed top 5 at Western Regionals, in Squaw Valley, and top 10 in Jackson Hole. He has a total of 82 podiums–46 are 1st place finishes. This fall Walker will burst out of the Bozeman bubble and move to Vermont to go to GMVS (Green Mountain Valley School) Ski Academy where he will pursue his his dream of becoming an Olympic ski racer.
